Ummm...I had the same problem. I would recommend using shampoo, then conditioner immediatly. Wash it off with water. When you come out, use coconut oil on your hair. THen, brush it/comb it/straightne/ w/e.

Try certain Herbal Essence products,or L'oreal. Either 1 of those should do the trick, but Garnier Fructis only blocks hair moisture so it doesn't help with ur type of hair. Oh, but make sure u put detangling solution or leave-in conditioner 2 help tame ur hair even more!

DO NOT CUT IT YET!!!!
first, use a creamy shampoo, not a clear one. it doesn't have to be all expensive and special. personally, i like garnier fructis products. :)
then, use a moisturizing conditioner...also, a weekly hair mask will also help...(you can get these at the store, or you can go here http://www.fatfreekitchen.com/beauty/hai... scroll down a bit first)
after you get out of the shower, DON'T brush it immediately. gently pat dry (try not to rub hair around with a towel...pat!), then work some leave in conditioner or smoothing serum/milk into your hair...brush out, starting at the bottom with a wide toothed comb, as a normal one will break hair, especially when wet.
try to air dry the hair, then style without heat products...however, if you DO use heat products, use a protective cream, or you'll fry your hair!
if you blow dry, use a cool/low setting. yes, it will take about a million years, but you don't want to damage your hair, which gnarls it!
so this is what i recommend...
*garnier fructis length%26amp;strenght shampoo
*garnier fructis sleek%26amp;shine conditioner
OR herbal essences hello hydration conditioner
*garnier fructis sleek%26amp;shine smoothing milk
*aussie deeeeeep 3 minutes reconstructor or whatever it's called...
*get a wide-toothed comb! use the normal brush when the hair is dry!
