No longer Natural??

I've been natural for 2 1/2 years. I just put a texturizer in my hair thinking it would keep my hair curly like it be when its wet. It only made combing my hair easier. I guess I misunderstood the purpose of texturizers. Does this mean I'm not natural anymore? Do I have to keep getting them like you do with a perm?

No longer Natural??

Yep. Texturizer is pretty much a chemical that alters your hair's natural texture, the same as a relaxer does. Unfortunately, you will have to continue to put texturizers in your hair when your new growth comes in, just like a relaxer. Or just start over from scratch and do the BC once your new growth comes in some.

No longer Natural??

Yes. A trexturizer is a chemical. Only way you go back natural is cut your hair or let it grow out.

No longer Natural??

if you used a chemical enhanced product changing the texture of your hair....nope, you're no longer natural.
