Any Ideas for Smoothing frizzy hair??

i have tried all sorts of "anti-frizz" shampoos, gels, serums...and nothing works....

i use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo and conditioner n the shower, then afterwards i comb Aussie Smoove gel in from roots to tip (i used to use Loreal Studio 2B Anti-frizz gel but they dont make it anymore), but either way neither seemed to tame my rebellious hair.....then i blow dry it on med heat with the "ion booster" setting and set the style with my cool shot.....what am i doing wrong, and is there any way to fix this?

My hair is frizzy too so I try to avoid blow drying it at all to prevent frizz. I just let it air dry. I would suggest Aussie shampoo it seems to work good. You could try a curl defining gel or something and scrunch your hair. It never really worked for me but it has for other people:) Good luck:)

I had the same problem, my hair was always frizzy. I dye my hair all the time and it's wavy so I get a lot of frizz.

What I did was I stopped blow drying it, when possible I just let it dry naturally, and I found that made some improvement. I also use a serum or anti-frizz balm on it but neither of these things made a big difference. I found the most effective thing is to drink more water. Your hair is less frizzy when you are better hydrated. Hope that helps.

WOW! Way too much product...all you need is the CHI flat iron and NO product...you will have straight, shiny, sleek non frizzy, non static hair...it is a miracle worker...you will scream no more product again...oh but after a while you will want to use a heat protect-ant serum....try it you'll love it!

Invest in some good conditioner, like Joico K-Pak or something like that, and do a deep condition once a week. That will help. As far as day to day straightening, try investing in a flat-iron. Once your hair is dry, touch up the frizzy spots with the iron then finish with a silicone base smoothing spray (I like the one by Tre Semme). Spray it on your hands then smooth it onto your hair. I totally recommend Kerastase Products. They are a line of products developed by a professional stylist in Paris. They are absolutley amazing. You can probably guess that you are going to pay a little more for these products, (anywhere from 25$-50$ each) but I can guarantee that it is worth it. I have curly hair and this is what I do to make it straight and shiny!

1. Wash your hair with shampoo. I highly recommend using K鑼卹astase Ol鑼卭 relax: for dry and rebellious hair. Get your hair wet and then apply a SMALL amount to the palms of your hands. Gently rub into your hair and massage with your fingertips--very gently rubbing your scalp of build-up. Rinse.

2. If you are going to use a conditioner, use only 2-3 times a week. It is not necessary to wash your hair with conditioner daily. Apply a very small amount to your fingertips and rub on the ENDS of your hair. Most conditioner is not made for you scalp, and should only be used on the ends and locks of your hair. Rinse with cool water--This will keep nutrients in your hair and will not wash them completely away.

3. Towel-dry and apply S鑴UM OL鑴-RELAX. this is a

4. Style as usual. I suggest, that if you are going to use a flat iron, to use a CHI. They protect your hair using ceramic plates which provide great protection against the immense heat that the iron gives off.

my hair used to SUCK becuz it was so frizzy and static all the time. Then I found Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Smoothing Milk for Hair. It works maricles. It makes my hair shiny and frizz free, and its inexpensive too. I LOVE IT!!!!
