Does oldskool genres, styles still sell and appeal to people.......?

it's just, one day, i'd like to make money somewhere in the entertainment industry, but most of my, "ways" are oldskool.

like, music-wise, i go for either, an eighties metal sound, or early goth, (the cure, siouxsie and the banshees, bauhaus etc)

and my movie ideas, are usually no holes barred-whether they're horror or action.

my dress sense is based off of that time aswell, except i don't have the cool back combed hair :(

OH yeah difinetly

Does oldskool genres, styles still sell and appeal to people.......?

dude, the eighties were like a mini depression and full of spazoids..go back a little further if you want to make money, coz when people are down enough to like that, only fools are spending money on music and movies.

Kids grow up listening to their parents music untill they can find their own style. I remember listening to the Eagles, Black Sabbath, etc. I still like some of what I grew up listening too. And I still like some of the style my parents had. Same goes for oldskool genres. It will always sell and appeal to people who like it. And kids will be growing up buying it. I don't know what you think but I love the Cure and they will never go out of style to me. As long as there are people like us there will be people buying that stuff.
