when I was it, i can barely comb it because the comb does't get through even if it's wide toothed. it's even hard to blowdry it because it's thick, coarse and tangled.
My hair is very coarse. is there a way of softening it without using relaxers or such chemicals?
Lately my hair has become soft because I started this little regime. I add some extra virgin olive oil, honey, carrot oil and a little bit of my conditioner to a bowl and mix together. Then I apply to my hair while it is still dry and leave in for about an hour. I wash it out and then shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair soft and manageable. After that I use Garnier Fructis sleek and shine leave in conditioner and it makes hair moisturized and manageable. Ever since I started this my hair falls out less, I can comb through my hair and it's super soft!
Hopefully this helped... :)

I really like Redken's intensive hair treatments. I've tried the All Soft Heavy Cream, All Soft Silk Fuel, and Smooth Down Butter Treat, and they all left my hair feeling really soft and smooth, without being greasy. The Heavy Cream and Butter Treat are deep conditioning treatments that you use one or twice a week, and the Silk Fuel comes in a really small tube that only has one or two uses in it, but it's more powerful.

hi dear
massage some oil (olive) into the scalp working downwards till the end with your fingers.Do this very gently.
Dip a towel in hot water and squeeze the excess water out.
Wrap this towel on your head covering hair and keep for some time.
Wash using a mild shampoo or besan powder.
Always use 1 drop of oil on hair before blow drying.Let your hair dry naturally .don't blow dry daily.

Conditioner should become your best friend. The better condition the hair is in, the easier it is to work with. Blow drying and straghtening too often cause damage that may make your hair coarser. Try using good products to maintain health and then frizz ease or another hair serum before straightening. Blow drying with a brush and hot combing or glat ironing small pieces will make your 'do look the best!
