All cats will constantley shed. Short hairs less often if you give them a brushing about once a week. Long haired cats have a double coat, that's why they seem to have a lot of it. Try a double coat comb, like for dogs, it gets both layers at the same time. It wont get rid of all of it but it will cut it down a great deal of it. Cat hair on furniture and clothing, try that red lint brush and "Static Guard" That combination works Fantastic!

Brush, not comb. A brush will pull a lot of it out. Natural bristled brush work best. But, as long as you have a cat, you will have shed hair. Get used to it or deep 6 kitty.

6) use a brush (sometimes rubber brushes are best) as much as you want - the hair collected in the brush does not fall everywhere else. For longhaired breeds a special brush or comb can be a help.

I found a solution .. I bought a tape brush for the clothes .. cat hair will simply stick on it and when the layer is full of hair just peel it off and a new layer is there to use
