What is a common dream that occurs to you at night?

Well if you don't want to mention it for privacy reasons I understand that.

For me one of the common dreams I had was crossing a mirror in my dream, than when I looked in it on one dream. Second dream was the same ,but in the mirror I saw myself as I was, just a bit looking better. Finally the third time around same kind of dream, but when leering into the mirror inside my dream, I was an older person. Since I am a lucid dreamer I saw that I had gray combed hair and a full grown beard matching my head hair.

To me the understanding of this dream is just showing how my inner person is like. One thing is for certain is that people told me before, that I act like and remind one that I have an old soul.

I always have a dream that I can jump, and my head touches the ceiling. It is a party piece of mine ( in my dream ) I am taken to buildings with really high ceilings, and each jump takes me higher, and higher, until my head is bumping on the ceiling. I am jumping, like on a trampoline, and each bounce is higher than the last one.

I had my dream analised once, and it was suggested that I was a member of the Massai tribe in a former life, so I investigated this, and they DO jump really high in the air. Strange hey?

I often dream that I am running and that my feet aren't touching the ground. I also often dream about getting back with my husband-but those are more like nightmares!!

I also dream that I move into a house that has hidden rooms or a door that I cannot open. In the dream about the door I cannot open there is always an ominous feeling about what is behind the door.

Before the Holidays I had this crazy dream that I was fixing my hair, I turned around to get something, which I have no idea what, but when I looked in the mirror again I looked just like I did when I was 25!! I jumped out of my bed. I looked in the mirror and there I was with the same face I went to bed with and grew to love!!!

I have recurring "house" dreams. I will dream of complete house plans... sometimes they are fantasy homes, only a millionare could build.

Recently I had a dream of what I call "the survival house" which is feasable and could be heated with one good woodburner! ( I told my husband I wanted to built this one as our retirement house)

In majority of these dreams, the last part of the dream will be of the bathroom. It's always luxurious. There will be fantastic tiles, gold fixtures, scented oil waters, every sort of bath luxury you can imagine.

I can't even think of what these house dreams mean. But I have them often.

I dream that I'm in a big old house with many rooms and I can't find the door to get out. It's dim and grey inside. No other people around. I am confused about where I am but determined to find the way out. I go in and out of rooms, up and down stairs, try to open windows to get out, finally find a door that should take me outside and I can't force it open. Somewhere in that last part where I'm struggling to get outside I manage to wake myself up.

I hate this dream. Always awake feeling scared and have a hard time getting back to a peaceful state so I can sleep I've had some version of this same dream many times since I was a child.

Have no idea what the dream means. Maybe I'm trying to escape reality? I do read a lot of books and tend to daydream.

I really don't have a "common" or recurring dream. My dreams are vivid and varied. In the most recent uncommon one, though, I was a 23-year-old male, in the city where I grew up. I was still me inside, but the me outside was not the 57-year-old woman that I am. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

I'm some where shopping and can't find my car or I can't find my car keys. And some times a guy will try to steal my purse and I beat him over the head until he gives up and runs away.

The weird thing about it is, I haven't been able to drive for over 5 years. Maybe that would say something to, a dream interpreter.

This has been a fascination for me for a while now, I've done a little research on it and one thing I do know is that we don't take our dreaming to be as important as it should be, all our dreams are from the subconscious and if we take the time to try and analise them they could be of great benefit to us in our lives, I have even read that dreams can forewarn us of any illnesses that need to be sorted, I have noticed a lot of you have dreams about homes and buildings, it's just a theory, but I think these dreams are saying there is something your not facing and needs to be addressed as in "putting your house in order" so to speak and try to fathom out what maybe bothering your subconscious....like I said I only have done a little research on dreams but *typical not me* said she feels "ominous" as to what is behind the locked door, maybe she could just meditate on this and find that there has been something niggling at her and needs to face it, once these things are faced the recurring dreams just go away, I think I will look to see if there is a dream interpretation discussion on here

I have had dreams that my grandmother is sitting in her rocking chair talking to me...I am a little girl in these dreams and just sitting on the floor listening..I can never remember what she is telling me but feel very comforted when I wake up...
